Security Deposit

A $150 refundable security deposit is required for all Playback Studio rentals.

Once the kit is returned safely and in good condition, the deposit is fully refunded.

What is Playback Studio?

Playback Studio is a guest-filmed camcorder experience. We send you a camcorder, your guests capture candid moments throughout your celebration, and we turn that footage into a curated highlight film you’ll actually want to rewatch.

Is this a replacement for a videographer?

No. Playback Studio captures candid, guest-filmed moments. For full professional wedding coverage, our creator CaroDiazFilm blends camcorder, digital, and film footage into one intentional wedding film when booked together.

Who uses the camera?

Anyone you want. Friends, family, bridal party — it’s meant to be passed around naturally, without assignments or pressure.

Is the camera easy to use?

Yes. The camcorder is simple and intuitive, and we include a short instruction and shot guide to help guests feel comfortable using it.

Does the camera record audio?

Yes. The camcorder records sound, so voices, laughter, and little spoken moments are captured along with the visuals.

When can we use the camera?

Anytime during your booking window. There’s no schedule or required timeline — use it when moments feel worth recording.

What’s included in the kit?

Each Playback Studio kit includes the camcorder, SD card(s), batteries and charger, a protective carry bag, a reusable shipping box, and a prepaid return label.
